Book Review: Mason The Mutt

Title: Mason The Mutt
Author: Russ Hughes and KayeC Jones
Publication Date: October 1st 2015
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
Source: From the Author

This is a cute kids book. I love this little book and so do the little boys in my life. It is not a typical happy go lucky style of kids book. It  introduces real life lessons in a positive way. It starts out with this cute little puppy Mason having to deal with issues of abandonment. He learns how to over come all the obstacles in his way with the help of others. This would be a perfect chance for parents to explain to their child about homelessness, safety and family.

Once little Mason gets to the pound, he feels a little safer, he is taken care of. Although he has to deal with the issues of bullying once there. The book is a great way to explain to your children how to deal with them and work through their problems.

Don't worry though this book has a great ending. A very happy one at that. He is adopted my a little boy named Rodrigo and his mom. In this moment all his wishes come true. There is so many great moments for discussion with children about real issues.

The art is incredible. I thought this was a beautiful book.

I received this book for free from the author for an unbiased and honest review. Please remember all opinions are my own.
