Book Review- Roly Poly Monsters (Children's Series)

This is a series I will be running for a little while, highlighting some excellent children's literature. During the coming months, there will be many children's books. Stay tuned to learn more about it. Read previous posts in this series here.

This is literally one of the cutest picture books I have read in a long time. The artwork is vivid and will keep your child's interest throughout. Basically, RolyPoly is a cute fun little monster who rolls everywhere and has a pretty exciting life. Your child will love watching Roly Poly go about the day rolling here and there through Monster Land.

Roly Poly will roll out of bed, then have breakfast. Then roll out the door down to the park to play, after an adorable picnic lunch with mom and dad monster. A quick trip to the beach to swim and play in the fun sand, then it is time to go. Have to have a quick, dinner then it's off to bed.

The only real downside I see is that some of the sentences where "wordy" for a kids book. This could cause your child to potential loose interest, and throws of the best part of a children's picture book which of course is the rhythm and rhyming nature.

Disclaimer: I received this book in exchange for my honest and completely unbiased review. All thoughts are my own.
